How the numbers work

Projected is points scored so far plus each starter's Sleeper projection for the time left in his NFL game. A player whose game is over adds nothing more. Defences are different: they start a game on 10 (a shutout) and usually slide down as the other team scores, so a defence mid-game is projected on where its points allowed are likely to finish, given the score so far and what the opponent was expected to put up.

Win chance compares the two projected totals and allows for the usual swing in fantasy scores, which shrinks as games finish.

HoopBet™ Cup Odds are worked out exactly across every possible route through the draw, using this week's live win chances and each team's season scoring for later rounds.

The worms come from snapshots taken every two minutes while games are on, re-scored with the latest Sleeper projections. Quiet stretches between games are squashed into thin breaks. A dashed stretch means snapshots were missed, so the line is joined rather than guessed.

Ladder: Exp W is the record you'd have if you played every team every week. Schedule is actual wins minus Exp W: Robbed below zero, Gifted above. Injuries uses the same badges for the wins injuries have cost or handed you.

HoopBet™ Season Odds assume every coach starts his best projected lineup each week, filling byes and injuries from waivers, then play the season and finals out 4,000 times.

Trades: "All points" counts everything the players score for their new team. "Above replacement" counts only points scored as starters, minus what the best available waiver player at that position actually scored that week.

Trade Court: one vote per team per trade, protected by a 4-digit PIN that each manager sets on his first vote. Voters' names are shown. The two teams in a trade can't vote on it.

Cup seeds: the five seeded teams are kept apart in the draw so the top two can only meet in the Grand Final.
